Our Story
With a background in urban architecture and the idealistic belief that the city is the ultimate design scale, I found myself increasingly drawn to the intimacy of human-scale projects. While working on massive urban projects spanning thousands of square meters, I yearned for the tactile immediacy and emotional clarity of one-to-one design.
This tension between the macro and the micro sparked a journey of experimentation. shifting from masterplans to interiors and furniture, from public infrastructure to crafted light. Eventually, I chose to step away from urban design and focus fully on the human scale, only to discover that I hadn’t left architecture behind. On the contrary, I came to realize that architectural thinking belongs just as much to the scale of an object as to that of a city.
“Studio Archive” was born from that realization. a design lab dedicated to objects with presence, purpose, and structural logic.
